Competition Terms and Conditions

Wai o Rua – Stratford Aquatic Centre (Wai o Rua) is running a competition called “Whetū's Elf-venture!” through their social media pages on Facebook and Instagram.

• The competition period runs from 8am Thursday 12 December until 4pm Monday 23 December 2024.
• Every day, from 12 December – 23 December 2024 inclusive, Wai o Rua will publish a different competition image on their Facebook and Instagram pages. To be entered into the competition, people need to find the location of Whetū within the image and correctly comment on the competition post with the location. Each correct response gets the commenter one entry in the prize draw for 1 of 3 Wai o Rua Family Vouchers.
• On a single day, people can comment on both the Facebook and Instagram competition posts to double their entries on that day. Only one correct comment per day for each social media platform will count as an entry into the prize draw.
• The winner will be drawn from all valid entries at random.
• The prize, 1 of 3 Wai o Rua Family Voucher, will be valid for 1 year from the close of the competition. The voucher will give swim entry to: 2 children 15-years-old and younger plus 2 adults or 3 children 15-years-old and younger and 1 adult.
• Prizes can't be exchanged for cash or different products or services.
• Wai o Rua staff are not eligible to enter this competition.
• On Tuesday 24 December 2024, Wai o Rua will announce the winners in posts on the Wai o Rua Facebook and Instagram pages and contact the winners via the winner’s Facebook and/or Instagram profile.
• If a winner does not contact Wai o Rua within 7 days to claim their prize a new winner will be redrawn from the original valid entries.
• The Family Voucher must be picked up from Wai o Rua by or on Friday 31 January.
• By entering the competition, participants give Wai o Rua permission to publish their name publicly in social media posts announcing the competition winner.
• This competition is not endorsed by Meta, Facebook, or Instagram.
